I honestly cannot even fathom travelling 100k's to/from work. What a shit life that must be. Assuming you can average 50kph on public transport, that's still 10 hours travel a week...which is close to 1/3rd of my whole working week.
I just don't understand that 'lifestyle'.

Its crap for sure.... I spend 3 hours a day travelling to and from work... so thats 15hours a week... in my 37.5 hour work week... Its not fun, but beats living in a tiny apartment close to the city and paying a fortune in rent... coz almost impossible for me to buy close to the city... blah...

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

My old boss at NAB is good mates with Adam Scott. No wonder I can't get him on the phone this morning.

Zac, therein lies the problem. You life is being shaped by the 'system'.
In my opinion, time is THE most valuable asset, space being a close second. Sydney just does not accommodate 'real' living...just a (pretty damn average) 'lifestyle.

In my opinion, time is THE most valuable asset, space being a close second. Sydney just does not accommodate 'real' living...just a (pretty damn average) 'lifestyle.

Pete... tell me about it... I can't stand Sydney... been looking at moving somewhere... anywhere else with a better work life balance.. even more now that I have a wife and child... this is not the way to live... thinking Brisbane or something one day... but stuck here for now, saving up and paying off as much of the house as I can...

I kinda yearn for days gone by...simpler times and far fewer people.
It's a shame that it all becomes about money these days and being able to 'afford' things.
