Well. Rach seems to think the laptop has shit itself. Is apple only 12 month warranty? Because we now have a $1200 forking paper weight.

What does it do? Does it power on at all? White or grey screen?

Hmm depend on what mac is it, is could be a common problem... because of the connection of the screen to the body... get some deets and google it when you get home... might be able to source spares on ebay

Just know the Macs use a tri screw I think? So a normal phillips screw driver won't work... depending on the mac maybe? Is it a MacBook Pro or something? I just took one apart on the weekend... Screen is a different issue though...

Yeah I just found I can get Bioshock on Xbox for cheap... but Xbox... 

 

I prefer a game where I can just turn it on, kill some people, then forget about it... not something with a super indepth story or something, because lack of time


Last one I played was Far Cry 3 (speaking of which, I might play that on the weekend :P) Really enjoyed it.

Do I need to play the first ones? Like I said, need something I can just start up and play immediately, without having to go through too much story

If it's just outside of warranty Apple usually come to the table and repair it still so try your luck at a Genius bar.

Otherwise... Say you dropped it and claim it on home and contents insurance?

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Aight... Far Cry 3 is on the list...

 

Glad I got my MacBook running again... with Win7... its an i7 too... so pretty sweet for gaming I think... should have a decent GFX card
