Do any of you guys think using a welder on a 30m extension lead is a bad idea???

You probably will get away with it since it's a 15 amp, and the welder dosnt draw too much.

It's not ideal though.

It's for welding 1mm thick car panels so the amps will be quite low. If I need to crank up the juice, I'll take it down to the house and use the plug at the mains

It's either that or wait until I can afford to run power up to the shed. I don't want to weld out the front of my house because if it's windy it will just blow the gas away

We had it done not long ago , was a few hundred dollars for about 50 meters of distance
