They are quite distinctive bikes I have to say. Very unique exhaust/engine note too once your ear learns it.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Older speed triple. I actually quite like this colour.

This is actually from a for sale thread in the US, $6800.

Hi,

voqT6MP.jpg

This is my Grandad whom I never met, but these photos surfaced recently due to the passing of my Nan. I know I've made it fairly obvious how I feel about the practicality of me actually riding a bike down here, but I'd love to identify and learn more about these bikes. If anyone has any idea what they may be, let me know.

Kind of hard to tell, but I think the lettering is 'BSA'

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Nik

Very nice, I'll see if I can find what model.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

I should just convert to single, right?

Ha, I probably should have read everything before I posted, but yes, one is at least a BSA.

Hi,

Yep. Birmingham Small Arms Company.

So hard to tell, but it looks similar sans the exhaust, to this; http://en.wikipedia....500_cc_1936.jpg

Colour is wrong for me. Needs a satin colour. Green, black or dark blue

Black, silver or dark blue would be tops. I am not a fan of the colour, but the bike itself looks pretty tough for something old school.

Hi,

Not like I'm actually going to buy it, but no way in hell I'd change the colour on a 60 year old piece of kit.

For reference, it's called the 'Golden Flash'.

:D

Cheers,

Nik

Hi,

Going by the insignia and the front tree arrangement, I am wavering towards saying it's an Empire Star;
