The only reason you would have received a letter would be because the Telecommunications Ombudsman would have made them, otherwise they never would have.

Just as I thought. Either way, it's good that they do their job.
Because they have been required by law to do something they REALLY REALLY REALLY wouldn't have wanted to do - does not make it good customer service. Just in my opinion though. Although they've done well if that's how you took it.
