Sup all. I have a job interview this arvo. It's for an IT technician traineeship. The money sucks but the hours are good.
Feeling pretty confidant about this one.
This machine is in the branch. Old mate came in through the roof, demolished a packet of strawberry lollies I had on my desk, took a dump, took 10 more dumps on various safes throughout the branch, and then just sat where is above until we removed him and put him outside this morning.
hahahahaha What a little bugger.

I don't think Jamie plays much of a part in that decision
I am blaming him for his stance, not saying he made the decision. We already know how I feel about WW/Coles as a whole - for him to support the fee being placed on farmers is my main gripe with him. The fee itself, squarely Woolies.
Jamie's opinion is that the farmers union or whatever it is, should embrace the charge to help Aussies eat better fresh foods, Josh.
I'm sayin'.
The food also seems to last longer, and apparently it tastes better.
Most of this to be 100% honest is placebo. As you'll find it all comes from the same market pool, some items will be more hand to hand I guess.

The people/farmers I am buying from are selling off the backs of their utes.
The fruit n veg shop, obviously depending on how big it is you could be right, especially in the cities maybe?
My local fruit n veg is all local homegrown stuff, how common these places are though.. Probably not at all.
..and good luck HaZ!

Fair enough, I don't care enough about Jamie to care what his opinion is on the matter - though that is a cubt of a move. Anger stands with Woolworths.Jamie's opinion is that the farmers union or whatever it is, should embrace the charge to help Aussies eat better fresh foods, Josh.
What a load of shit

That is something else I loved about back up home, take a 10 minute drive out of town and you can buy locally grown fruit and veg directly from the grower - not talking large scale crops or anything, they just have like little roadside shed/hut things with whatever fruit and veg they have ready. The people/farmers I am buying from are selling off the backs of their utes.
There are a couple of old ladies who set up a trestle table at one of the servos and sell locally grown macadamias and avacados, always nice and tasty stuff.

This may very well be the case, but what we've noticed is that the "fresh" salads and stuff from coles aren't really fresh and only last about 1 day in the fridge, 2 at the most. When we order online, they deliver bags of salad that expire the next day.

Yep, bagged loose leaf etc. ALWAYS stay away.
I would wager that access to farm gate produce is a lot better in somewhere like Tasmania, or out here where I live, or anywhere that's rural with horticulture really.
When I go to the city I see how spoiled people are for 'easy' food - things that are what I think of as secondary rather than primary produce; primary is basically all you get from a hand to hand down here (butcher/vego).
A lot of the stuff that perishes super quickly once you've bought it is because people demand to eat the same food all year round, instead of eating what is in season. This is where a fruit and veg shop will win out over a big boy, because they do not have the facility to cold store hundreds of tonnes of something until it's at it's polar opposite of seasonality. Hence, the things you buy are meant to be eaten around that time of the year.

It's not his opinion, its his influence I hate, I don't like or dislike him as a person.
He saids this is not right, people will listen.
