And home.
Football*
Care factor = 0.
I call it, and have always called it, soccer. If you want to get into specifics you should be calling it association football.
Nope.
My school had it as a subject, we used to go to Regionals every year and clean up, take 3 teams and usually get 1st and 2nd, and sometimes 3rd.
I haven't played a proper season for about 6 years, but have played a few games here and there during my old job.
But it sounds like your comp is a bit of a friendly, I was hoping to get into a serious comp, that allows barb wire in the boots etc.
I play for keeps.
Our Monday competition at PCYC in Marrickville is competition. We've not come anything less than 1st or 2nd for some time now (about a year or two). The Wednesday games are just mucking around. It's still competitive but does contain the perfect balance between mucking around and competition. The court is built to encourage rebounds and all that sort of stuff. The only time you stop is if the ball goes out of the 'cage', and a rule we made up is if it hits the back fence it's the goalies ball. The Fraser Park courts seem quite a bit bigger than the PCYC ones as well. They're proper futsal, not a basketball court.
If you're keen man, I'm happy to grab your number and invite you along whenever we need people, although our Monday team is full at this stage.
