That looks so nice man! That's the only boot lip on a gen3 that I've liked!
Thanks! But which one! The STI one or the slimline ebay one (2nd pic)?

Careful mate, I can still read ya know.

Well at least you sort of have a legacy (apparently)

Thanks go to Beckers for saving this thread from the internet outhouse known as Page 2 of Build/Projects. Thought I'd better post an update.
The lip spoiler is painted and clear coated. I've started cutting (by hand) but I think I'll fork out for some cutting & buffing pads for my air sander/polisher. More to follow.
In the meantime, I finally swapped out the RR weatherstrip! Big thanks to CRUISN for flicking me his spares on the cheap. My BH9 and BG9 both had torn weatherstrip rubber on one or both back doors. Pulling the door apart was straightforward, but trying to work the three little plastic locking lugs (on the back of the weatherstrip) was tough! I ended up bending the old weatherstrip... perhaps sliding it off would be the better option...
Once the replacement strip was fitted, the difference in condition between the strip and the rear quarter glass drove me nuts. The alignment also messed with my OCD. There isn't any adjustment points, so I'm stumped for how to fix the slight alignment issue. Here's what it looked like: *edit: forgive the pic rotation on the next few pics. They're correct on my laptop, but the board swapped them for some reason.*

The last pic *sorta* shows what was grinding my gears - shiny new vs. matte old. Here's a better pic:

Add 20mins of cutting compound, then Mother's 3-step polish program. w00t.

Tomorrow's job is to finish wiring in the Turbosmart boost gauge (thanks again Cam). I'll post another update afterwards. I'm trying a fuse tap for the first time. In other news, Japan mail arrived last week. New BF Defi 3-set and an S401 hazard switch. It'll be a while before I take a few days off to pull the dash/console apart.
I also bought this a few weeks back. It has been a while so taking things slowly (pardon the pun). Lots of fun and lots of jobs I can do myself. I'm really looking forward to learning bikes.

Thanks blokes.
I must be about the only RevA-C fan out there (nod to my brothers Pat and Jim!) :-) I love the bar, I love the pods. And I love having the slightly suckier early EJ206 so I can do mad mods on the cheap. Who needs a tuneable computer!? Just unplug the battery and my ECU tunes itself #subypro #anotherTTdisaster
RevD-E headlights are definitely a lot tidier though.
Hey Josh - if you want I'd be happy to paint your pods if you buy the colour paint and post them up to Newcastle. A single colour-coded rattle can from supercheap is around $20 bucks. Maybe a bit more. I buy tins but cans are easy.

Wow! Amazing car, my favourite subaru! How did you get this imported? Private import? I would love a legacy over Liberty any day haha
This one was a private import in 2006. I don't know much history other than I bought it from a VICPOL guy early last year. He looked after it, and it's in amazing condition. I like the Legacys too - can never have enough switches, cup holders, unreadable safety placards and road flares

Cheers for that. New developments over night with my build, so it looks like I wont be using the pods at all now. Thanks blokes.

No worries. By the way, I know you're a handy guy and painting isn't rocket science - I've just got my home 'booth' set up and offered cause I'm keen to keep at it.
PS. I started reading your whitekong thread... now on page 14 aaaaand I'm late for work, lol. Great read!

Looking good Mark.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"
