I stripped the boot completely trying to find a really bad rattle that I had not been able to find since I bought the car, spent heaps of time covering everything in foam or making sure it could not move and the rattle stayed . Ended up moving the catch as much as I can and thankfully that fixed it . Added more deadening into the boot before putting it back together.
The new speakers sound great and the car is so much quieter. With a 3 hour round trip for work it will be well worth it. The difference in feel with the deadened doors is a lot nicer, they don't feel cheap anymore and close with a thud not a rattle.
Didn't take many pics but this is what I got.
Stuffed speakers
One door deadened and speakers installed.

Finding and eliminating rattles I find is very satisfying.

Nice. Should seal up some of those door holes. It will improve the bass response.

That's the plan with the foam that i bought, cover everything i can apart from the speaker.
Sure is satisfying, stripped the boot to nothing, over 2 weeks trying to find the bloody thing , it was so loud.

No idea when it happened but it can't be safe. Tread and pressure is still fine on all the tyres, I have potenzas on the back and ku31s on the front. This is the back left tyre. So should I just replace the rear 2 or all 4. Also the engine is not the healthiest sounding thing, loud clicking noise from the right head

side wall cracking generally comes from age of tyre, being a picky subaru awd system id advise doing all 4, otherwise you could end up in my extreme case of the centre diff playing up and causing you issues. i just ended up making mine rwd to save me effort

Always best to use new tyres if you can afford it.
Great choice on the new rubber,

So I'm thinking of trying to heat it up and bend it back and respray the bumper and maybe some other panels while I'm at it. I have got a spay gun at home just worried that it will not match or look as nice. He offered to pay for repairs but I'm a bit reluctant as it could cost him a bit for an old car that's already got some damage and I was staying at his house (share house). Also I had someone open there door on my last mouth leaving a small dent

Make him pay.
Will be getting quotes tomorrow for repairs and most likely will. Want to get the damaged sills and door panels repaired at the same time depending on how much it will cost.
Anyone know any good panel beaters in south east?
