Coming along nicely. :)

I've used the fuel additive every service since ownership. It's just a cleaner.

I fitted Bosch aero wipers all round. Gets rid of the metal frame and looks neater.

Okay good, just got a new box and ready for the next tank!

Do the Bosch aeros work well? I just get standard ones and they always go funny pretty often, like they start to leave streaks. I make sure they're clean when I wash the cars but they just don't last haha

I've had the genuine Bosch aero's on for about 18 months and they're still doing their job spot on.

That's all I ran on the B4 too. I bent the stock ones trying to replace blades and they were a bit scummy. Cut my finger in the process. Aerotwin win. I got about 3 years out of them before replacing again with the same thing.

Cool! Just looked up the part number for the Legacy/Liberty BBA500/BBA550 but for the rear wiper they only have H380 listed which is standard, I might just try order a 380mm Aerotwin

Edit: appears they don't do 380mm only 350mm and 400mm

They're Ray's engineering SE37K. I'm thinking of changing them, but they're cool wheels haha

Gawd this makes me cry nearly. Always wanted a white GTB.

Instead, I ended up with this big purple nugget!

Hey guys, I need to put a new battery in both of my cars as the one in the GTB was just shit, corrosion on the posts and goes flat all the time, and now on my liberty the battery is starting to die ( I think) if I turn too many things on like other things stop working. For example, if I have my ac and fans going, and then switch my lights on and the radio on, the fans will slow down for a bit and then speed up. And if I have everything on and put the windows up or down, the radio will shut off. Or when I have the windscreen wipers on the interior lights dim a little everytime the wiper motor operates.

So what I'm asking is what battery's should I look at brand/CCA for both of my cars?

Is there a way to test it? I bought a cigarette lighter voltmeter to see if the alternator wasn't charging enough, but it stays pretty constant around 14.4 and then when I use too many things the voltage will drop to under 12v normally around 11.5-11.8 and the radio will shit of or the lights will dim for a second. Although when this happens I notice the alternator will whine a bit while the colts drops, and then it will go back up to 14.4v and stop whining shortly after that.

I tried to single out a circuit that was overloading the battery, but it happens irrespective to what's turned on, just happens whenever too many things are on.

Also Google said it was the battery, with what I found but it's only 13-14months old so It could be the alternator. I'll try find a way to test it.

Another thing to add is when I find these problems happening I check the battery voltage when the car is off and its usual around 10v. I'm pretty sure that's bad and it should be higher, I'll try an alternator test tonight and then make a decision

So nice. I've not yet seen those JDM plates in person yet.

The dirt that would've been behind the previous plates; is it just dirt or is that scratched into the paintwork?
