Its not bad. Its a pilsner (similar to pilsner urquell actually). Good hops, bitter after taste and the mouth feel aint too bad either.

Blondie, I'm not sure if you will like it. It is quite "beery", so if you don't like "beer" you may not like it

Mikkeller/Brewdog - Devine Rebel (Barley wine) Its a winner, but I don't think I would bother getting again (but if you do come accross it, try it ;) ). For a very similar experience, grab either (both flying dog) the Double Pale Ale or Barley wine. Either are 90% of what this is (over all exerpience, not quality). http://www.mikkeller.../1249983977.jpg http://www.mikkeller...og_id=74&land=1 http://www.mikkeller...r_id=109&land=1 You can tell it has been aged in whiskey barells, but the flavour and smell (to me) is more about the barley wine than the smoke/peat/wood etc. Not overly bitter, but those new to "extreme" brews may fine it far too bitter. its going down quite well after my green curry lunch/dinner

Drink in the Sun Brewed at De Proef Brouwerij, Lochristi-Hijfte, Belgium. Drink in the Sun is a summer-beer made in American style. Brewed with lots of American hops, wheat, ale yeast and sunshine. Ingredients : water, barley (pale, wheat, cara-red), hops (amarillo), yeast and sunshine. ------ Reminds me a bit of a golden ale. I dont really notice the wheat. Would work as a session beer, but it is quite hoppy so those new to hops may find it a little over the top but yeah I could drink a fair few pints of it

Hi, Interesting. The Amarillo is the aroma hop, it would be interesting to see what they are using as a bitterness hop? I can't see how it can be anything but fruity, and maybe a bit warm with all that sunshine. I believe James Squires are the biggest consumer of Amarillo in OZ - all towards their fabled Golden Ale, so your comments are bang on mate. Cheers, Nik

Wasn't all that bitter (compaired to what I'm used to ayway). I think they just used an ass load of the amarillo. You could smell it as soon as I popped the top edit: oh and yeah, it was quite fruity (arroma mostly) but compared to all the more full on brews I have been drinking of late, was a little lacking hehe good to see I'm learning ;)
