is that all the flying dog range ? The physics is nice, but I preferred the pale ale from brew dogs. Not game to try some of their funkier brews (like the one in the oak barrel on a boat or something crazy like that). What are the ones on the right (5th and 4th from right)

Hi, You've got a Left Hand Imperial Stout - Colorado. In from that; R->L Schloss Eggenberg - Hopton Konig - Austria. When in doubt... THROW HOPS AT IT! I'm off to basketball, wish me luck. Cheers, Nik

Just had the "barley wine style ale" wooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Not for the faint hearted or new to beer. Its 10.x%, but for a change, a high % beer that I was able to drink! Need to let it warm up a little IMO to get the most out of the malt and hops to mellow out the booze a little.. I think I'm going to sit down for a while now... its making me happy

Hi Richo, Barley wines are a funny thing. Done right and they can be something you can have a few pints of, done wrong and it's just a horrible experience. Bootleg Brewery have a 'Grandfather' Barley Wine at the moment, which I think they've almost run out. But that was 10.7%, only served by the regular, and very, very good. I didn't have a brew last night, but I am going to choose one for tonight. I'm going to try to just have one beer a night, and make each one a bit special. For your earlier question, I believe this is the entire Flying Dog range sitting here in my office. The artwork on the Imperial Porter 4pack box is amazing. I need to go back and get the rest of the boxes. Cheers, Nik

Hi, The BrewDog 77 was my Saturday night beverage. All I can say is, impressed. Who knew a Scottish brew could be so nice? But forget that - remember how much I distaste dark beers? I absolutely went ape doodoo for the Whisky barrel aged Stout! Seriously. I've not too much time right now, I'm meant to be in a meeting, but hot damn. You could smell and taste Whisky - it was amazing. %10 - but you know what I mean when I say it didn't taste like ten percent. Such a light, yet full mouth feel. It's World Beer Cup gold medal was deserved. Well deserved. I am hunting out a carton. Cheers, Nik

Haha, they still sell it in Darwin. I eyed those off when I was up there a few months back although the price has increased I think (for memory it was $20 something ?).

it's good that they're still round and haven't become victims of liquor laws.

Nik, I'm sorry, but I don't rate it that much :/

It has the sweetness of wheat beers in taste and smell etc, but I was expecting more, I dunno, yeast-e-ness ?? more wheat-e-ness. Went well with the chicken curry I had

Hi, The beer in those 2L is absolutely terrible. Richo: You don't like the barley wine too much? I'll try and get a couple of bottles of Grandfather from Bootleg put aside for you to try at MDSC. Cheers, Nik
