4Pines Aramis. Rate Highly. Couldnt pick the style, but it was citrusy, bitter, dry and bready on the finish. Very nice summer dinking.

Bridge Road Brewers Saison: Also very nice. 7.5% but drinks like a 5er.

Monk Amber Ale : Hung out with Paul one of the two brewers for a couple of beers yesterday arvo. This is their new seasonal featuring NS hops. Quite unusual in a dark ale, but works really well. Usual NS earthy aroma, and its trademark fruity flavour. Works really well with the big sweat malt flavours. Interestingly they did a bittering hop addition, but no flavour and aroma additions. They just kept dry hopping it till they were happy. Even in yesterdays stinking hot weather it was a pleasure to drink.

Sig worthy.

Our Saison is coming along nicely. Right now it has very strong orange citrus flavours and aromas, and an interesting woody/cedary flavour. Its still quite worty though, so we arent expecting this to hang around. We're more than likely going to have to chuck more yeast at this bad boy, as its slowed right down and we're only on the 30's SG wise. We really want to get it down to 11 or 12. we're going to let it go on the Saison yeast till it completely stops, and then we'll chuck some US05 at it to finish it up.

Sig worthy.

If we can get it down to 11 we should see about 6.2% out of it.

4 pines had multiple beers in the top 100, but there weren't too many others that had 3 in that list.
Time to get a bigger brew length, and step it up.

Anything in the right quantity/alpha will work for bittering. What are you getting off it? Bitter peel rather than zesty citrus?

Watermelon?? WTF.

We're using a new hop in our APA tomorrow. Zythos. I think it's another citra, galaxy, cascade hybrid.

Most useless beer review show ever. Their vids, at least, have absolutely no information in them about the beer they are drinking. Its just watching them drink the beer. Also their website isnt safari friendly, so it doesnt load on my phone. Big fail

Sig worthy.
