I think this is the last of the reasonably priced BD beers available in Aus that I haven't yet tried.
Review to come. It's currently chillin' in the fridge.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Red Duck Hoppy Amber. Very nice. Drinking it from bottle, not really bothering with style notes. Apologies.
Cheers,
Nik

Yeah I can do that.
Give as excuse to catch up for beers.
Actually, grab two glasses. Apparently unhealthy to drink on your own.
Eh Josh?

No. My extremely scientific research using beakers and bunsen burners has proven beyond all doubt that drinking on your own is equally as beneficial to your health as drinking with others. My study indicated that liver function was increased, brain activity was amplified and your heart would also slow down to a far more sustainable pace (remember each persons heart has a finite number of beats... best not waste them all too quickly).Actually, grab two glasses. Apparently unhealthy to drink on your own.

Not only is it healthy that way it is also has a high nutritional value and age defying effects. We know that beer contains sugars, these sugars when absorbed by the body give the body the energy it needs to make it through the day. In diet obsessed times people are always searching for new super foods high in protein and antioxidants as a way to look younger and healthier.. well beer is the answer to this problem!! beer is basically a bunch of sugar water and hops with some yeast thrown in.. the yeast consumes the sugars and also the oxygen giving off CO2 gas... My bunsen burner research showed that it continues to do this inside the body, effectively becoming an antioxidant!!!!!! WOW.
"MDSC = Glass for you?" are you saying that I think of MDSC as just an opportunity to obtain a glass or are you asking if at MDSC I would like to purchase a glass?

Is nice for a 15%, but I remember enjoying Paradox Isle of Aran better. Was Aran a bit lighter on the abv? 11% maybe?
Anyway, I was going to power through Mikkellor BGB too , but I shall leave it for another day now.
Also had Geuze Boon. Very nice. If you like sours. Which I'm quickly coming round to. Very complex flavours but it's a refreshing drink at the same time. Something I think complex ales miss out on.
Also on the homebrew front, I did a kit stout. Wasn't at all happy with at end of ferment so I decided to experiment. I racked half of it to secondary and threw a handful of coffee beans in. After a week the coffee flavour has come through beautifully. It's turned it into a very drinkable coffee stout. I'm going to add back fresh yeast and carry out secondary ferment in bottle.
The other half a bottled and used aniseed boiled lollies as the sugar source for secondary ferment. I'm trying for a licorice stout with this one. Will find out in a couple of weeks, but I sense this one will stay in bottles till next winter and hopefully be a good one.
Sig worthy.
