So, this happened.

Highly rated. For a rum aged porter, it was great. Much more highly carb'd than I expected for a porter (as you can probably see) which threw me a little, but was still pretty well tasty.

I had the weihenstephaner/ Samuel Adams collaboration "Infinium" last night. Pours like a sparkling wine, and has similar yeast qualities too. 10.5%
Couldn't drink a lot of it. I shared the bottle amongst 5 over dinner.
If I see it at $25 again I'd buy it. But not for it's usual $50.

Sig worthy.

I cracked the House and Big House last night Nik. Both had perfect carbonation. Big house is chewy though hahaha. Really wouldn't want to drink more than one of those bad boys.

Sig worthy.

I would like to see that map (thanks for the link by the way) also detailing the tax rate associated with said beer.

Feral Brewery wins top beer honour

THE SWAN Valley's Feral Brewery as maintained its reputation for brewing excellence by taking out the most prestigious prize at this year’s Australian International Beer Awards.
Feral beat a competitive field of brewers from the Asia Pacific region to be crowned Champion Large Australian Brewery, winning the coveted award for the highest scoring Australian exhibitor for the second time in four years.

No strangers to success, the awards just keep piling up behind the bar of this Swan Valley microbrewery.

The AIBA also named Feral’s Hop Hog Best International Pale Ale for the fifth year running.

picked up a sixer of Two Birds Sunset Ale this arvo.

Super prominent fruity hops aroma and flavour. Biscuity sweet malt on the aroma too. but probably not enough malty body for my liking. Still really nice though. Would buy again.

Sig worthy.

Hi,

Posted Image

Italian IPA. Definitely one for those that like the Grove style... Bittersweet, cloudy, strong head, thick mouthfeel, Would be awesome with a meal.

Cheers,
Nik
