Hi, Cheers lads, I am so excited. It will be a real brewery, saleable beer, running two beers at any one time. I love beer. You met the other two blokes at MDSC mate. GTR member Red, and ranga Pizey. I will keep you guys well and truly in the loop on this one. I love beer. Car club branded beer actually isn't as crazy as it sounds. Being that this will technically be a legally licence holding brew house, things can happen. Great things. I love beer. Cheers, Nik

Gippsland Gold = FAIL IMO. Not liking it, head looks like dishwashing bubbles and feels like needles on my tongue. bitter, has a slight sweetness to start but is overpowered quickly Quite dissapointed TBH  *edit* also leaves horrible bitter aftertaste!

I know this is a beer thread but I just got a case of local shiraz which is really good for $28. Thats a saving of over $100. And its very noice. Resume beer talk now. The end.

Hi, 12 for $28? Must be from over east. That's ridiculous. I can guarantee that is being sold at a loss. Cheers, Nik

That was my question yes. But the winery says its because its 16% so its not what they wanted. Its really big.

Hi, Makes no sense, higher the alcohol, more expensive it is. It's an excise issue with alcohol content, that's why they are trying to condition people to 10 and 11 percent wines. Cheers, Nik

Hi, Haven't tried it. But I had them on my 'interested' list for the Microbrewery Showcase I'm going to at FedSquare in a couple weeks. That Yarra looks NASTY. Cheers, Nik

I have never seen such a bad coloured beer ! I cracked a few of my Home Brew Lagers the other night, :D I am enjoying.. probably could use a little more flavour but all in all its still nice and easy to drink :D suprisingly after I pour into a glass its a fairly clear lightly golden beer, not too cloudy at all :D next week I am going to put down two batch's and experiment with different hops and malts.
