good stuff mate hows the thing drive.. if you ever get sick of the whining be sure to call me :)

Hahahahahah, mate I'm married with kids. The gearbox whine is pleasant in comparison.
It's difficult to say how it really drives. I've given it a brief squirt and it felt good.
But I think I should have full boost a bit earlier than it is at the moment.

What brings you to these here parts? Good to see you. Thanks for the comment.
I'll have to get a few pointers on painting my car from you. I've got a question about Ron's colour choice? Is it a scarlet red or burgandy? I can't tell but that's probably the compter screen I'm using.

Reece, how are you going with that closed deck block?
I don't want a 6 speed thanks. But for you it would be ideal.
I just got the turbo back from Mr Turbo on Monday and it seems to spin a bit better.
Mr Turbo uses different bearing cores to Garrett. His are preloaded with springs whereas Garrett relies on the force generated by the compressor and turbine wheels trying to push in to load the bearing races.
So when the turbo isn't under load it is a bit tighter feeling but when spinning it frees up................apparently.
Hopefully it's a bit snappier to come onto boost. Final tune was meant to be today but I had an EPIC fail. In my haste to finish the car and get it ready for the tune I've farked up the throw out bearing installation. Motor out again tonight. Should have it out and almost back in again by 11pm if I pull my finger out.
It doesn't matter how many times you do something there's still room for major fark-ups to happen.

No worries mate. Im sick of the holy rollers on rslc telling everyone how to do it.

Ron is Ford Vixen Red as found on ba-on xr falcs. Painting tips are easy :) check my thread on Ron here.

You can come here and share your builds and experiences without being told you're doing it all wrong because someone else has done something a million times and their way is the only way to do it.
Tim Mathieson has probably dicked Julia a thousand times in the ass but just because he's doing it that way and has been for some time doesn't mean I'm going to do her or it in any way shape or form.

I completely agree. Great forum. Great guys on the whole.

sorry to hear about the turbo frank, time to upgrade i think buddy.

get your cash back off old mate and lash out a little i say.
suppose youve already sorted something out as its been a couple of weeks. If so any results?
