Haha having fun with the language filters? haha

Yeah mate looks sooooooo much better with less space above the tyre and under the guard..! The back is still a little high but ALOT better than before..
Yeah its not very practical but im never going to use it off road. Thats another reason i want to remove the roof racks... Im never going to use them and i think it'll look better! Ive never seen a gen3 OBK with no roof racks?!

Cheers again Nick

Murphy's Law, a mate will ask you to help him move his surfboard or snowboard the day after you shave the roof racks.

To be honest, I'm digging the grey on white now that it's lowered. Really don't think you need that respray, (says the guy chasing quotes for a respray).

In regards to number plate colours, can never go wrong with black and white. That blue is....interesting. I'm liking how quickly your getting through this build series of aesthetic modifications.

Nick

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

Murphys law... It's gonna happen.

Yeah aesthetic mod thread is a good way to put it! The respray I think will be the last thing I do. I was quoted $2200 to do it from a paint place the other day. More than id like to spend..

I'll look more into the roof rack delete but and also the headers. I want to get the sort of boxer rumble if I can...

And yeah the number plates. You either love them or hate them. I think they're pretty alright..

You might be surprised on how much the roof rails make the wagon look better, In the gen 2 I think the wagons without them look wierd and out or porportion But might suit your car? Dunno!

Some pics of the tail lights and brake lights in the centre rear garnish.
Bought the dual filament globes from autobarn- $4.99 for 2
Bought the peices that the globes go into... 1 from Autobarn for $4.99 (the last one they had) and they other from Bursons for $2.10...
Will definately shop around next time before shopping at Autobarn!

Yeah its no where near that bright the phone is really glary... Ill be doing the other part of the garnish tomorrow with only tail lights so no brake lights. Hopefully turns out alright.
What did you use to cut out the holes for the globe holders??
It was pretty easy for the ones i did today but the other ones i think are more difficult.

I didn't need to cut out any holes because the Legacy garnish has them already...
Easy plug and play for me :P

Aek's a trend setter in so many ways.

Interesting mod there Sam. I'd do it if I could just have the park light come on (not the brake/fog light) ??

He certainly is!

Do you mean only when the parkers are on? Or when the headlights are switched on at all? (as in tail lights?)

I'll be doing the middle parts so that they come on when the lights are turned on but don't get brighter as the brakes are pressed.

It can be done shiv. You just don't run a wire from the brake light source. I ran two up the pillar, one fir the tail lights and one for the brake light.

Eventually.

I need to stop spending on my car.

I ran out of money to buy textbooks at uni today :P

Do know for sure if we can get 'em as dark as the AUDM Outback ones?

Yea we figured out mine is either a USDM one or one off a Legacy, rather than a Legacy Outback or Lancaster. The Lancasters definitely have a darker one and so do the JDM ones.

I dunno though, this one is kinda growing on me! It will stay until I find a darker one at the right price but I'm nit fussed if that's another 12 months away...
