It's not hard to run it through the headlining. Take out the reading lights at the front and stick a coat hanger down there.

Tie the wiring to the coat hanger and pull through. You can then take the wiring to the windscreen and to either A pillar.

Run wiring down the pillar and to the footwell. Bam.

It's a good idea to run it to either the dome courtesy light or the ignition light so that they turn on when you unlock the car and turn off when you lock it or close the doors.

Mine was made easier due to the sunroof, but even without it, its not too difficult at all. Give it a shot Sam, its pretty easy and makes a really neat addition to the cabin :)

Also if you do it to the dome light, it looks really nice when it fades out.

Today I threw in some footwell LEDs for the front drivers and passenger side seats. Install was quite easy, I did what a couple other guys on here have done and ran wires from the dome light down the right hand side of the a pillar, through the dash and to the two led strips.
After blowing a fuse late yesterday arvo and giving up till today, I finally got them in and they are working well. Although they could be a little brighter, but I'll wait till it gets dark to see how bright they actually are.

I think I will try the same for the boot, maybe when I open the boot, some brighter lights will turn on.

Will throw up some pictures tonight.

Cheers,
Sam

Pic of footwell lights. It looks in the photos that they're different colours but they're the same in person.

Yeah they are exactly the same. The drivers side ones must be kind of reflecting on something, making it look a little different?? I have the passenger side ones stuck to the back of the glove box on a flat piece of plastic and the drivers side one zip tied to 2 different wire tube thingys so that they are as low as they can go but out of the way still. Where did you put yours Morgan?

I stuck mine so they were both facing down. One on the base of the glovebox. Can't remember about the drivers. On some black box or something. Wish they still worked! Gotta fix that some time

What happened? Crappy LEDs? Theres not really any places to stick the strip. Might leave it for now.

Did you ever get to try that set of UEL headers on your car Morgz? I won a set off eBay but im not sure if i want to pay the $250 or so and it be a disappointment...
