FMIC really needs more black.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

in QLD, you buy the plates outright, and once you do that you own them for ever!!!!
Prestige is $2000
and this style is $460

Spewing. It's $440 for us in NSW for custom plates, every year.

Car is looking nice man.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Yeah I have been tempted to get some for mine since I bought it, but every time $460 comes up I find better things to spend it on!

Ha ha, tell me about it. I've got a few decent ideas, it's just a matter of choosing which fits best.

I used a strip of aluminium behind my front plate to get it to sit flat properly and just carefully tightened to get it straight. But I wonder if you could fabricate something similar to turn it into an offset mount and cover the shape in the plastic neatly/open up the air dam even more. Saves damaging the plates and hacking up the bar to move the clips.

Raising the plate is easy. Just get some plastic that you think will be strong enough. Cut them into the same size rectangles or whatever, screw the bottom of them into the existing plate mount then screw your plate into the top of the plastic tabs. Wallah!

Go Evo-style?

They make brackets for them for the MX-5. Don't see why you couldn't make one yourself..
