I recently thought about doing that as well for no reason, just to get it cleaned up and looking sexy. Looking good.

 

Where are you getting the weather seals from Mark? I need the new rubber door seals for one side of my rear door as well, it just doesn't want to sit in place (I think the rubber that the seals slot into have ripped and therefore there is nothing to hold them in).

Not for no reason Gary, the rear ones on the wagon had gone grey on the top edges and the door ones have marks in them from the elements.

I guess it's good to go that extra mile to get small bits cleaned out. Good effort man. I will definitely bookmark that site. Some nifty stuff listed on it. Although I can't find any of the trim pieces you've replaced and/or rubber door seals that I need. Do you have to ask for them directly?

A few more little additions making it more JDM spec...

 

Fujitsubo NA muffler. Smaller and quieter than the Ganador turbo muffler.

 

 

 

JDM speedo and tacho. 180km/7000rpm redline vs AUDM 220km/6500rpm redline. Just little things. I couldnt fit the whole cluster as theres a few wiring differences with the symbols around the cluster.

Where did you splice them in to? Ive been thinking about getting the JDM B4 front door cards that have the puddle lamps.

Havent got that far yet, thats next weeks job.

 

It'll be easy to wire in though. Just need a constant +12V and take the ground from the switched side of the door switch.

Yep, even the screws are oem JDM.

 

Shiny muffler is quiet...... too quiet after I had gotten used to the turbo muffler. Going to get my mate to redo the centre section from scratch this week. Mandrel bent with a slightly larger centre muffler and refit the Ganador. The larger centre muffler should take the edge of the sound.

I do like the puddle lamps and also the new cluster and I have the puddle lamps on my B4 but they do not work so I am going to have to look into this!
