Just go for a front mount.
I went to the effort of finding a turbo bonnet for my gen 2 when I did the conversion. Unfortunately there were pretty much none in the country at the time and it cost me a shitload more than it should. Been wishing I'd just done a front mount ever since.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Ghetto spec...!

Best to get a proper turbo bonnet with the correct size hole cutout with splitter, etc

Wedge an angle grinder into your bonnet and go nuts.

Hell, just remove the bonnet.

Just buy a proper bonnet. Lol.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Nothing to seedy looking there that my untrained eye cannot see ??

Apart from the dodgy getto air box lol..

Is it normal for the paint to be missing on a engine with so little K`s ? I did see in every build iv read people where re painting them..

Cheers Vice.

Bilstein coilovers? Nice.

I'd be changing all those belts and pullies when you get it, along with the water pump and thermostat and timing belt. Almost looks like an aftermarket radiator too, and a HKS SSQV BOV. Pull the manifold off, get it sandblasted, and repaint in VHT Wrinkle. Looks epic.

And get proper matching hose clamps for your radiator hose.

Cheers,
Shazza

Hahaha, yeah, your tarbot bosswagon.

Looks good mate. as others have mentioned, do a timing belt service on it while it’s out of the car, change the water pump and maybe even the thermostat. The brake look like they could do with some TLC. Maybe give them an overhaul and a paint. Also looks like it has an alloy radiator and had a boost gauge (and external water temp) so fingers crossed the gauges are included. Other than that get it in the car STAT! :)
