Got the wheels checked again (for free) and they are balanced, it appears to be the bearing on the front left hand wheel that is slightly loose. Will fix that when i do the clutch.

Adjusted the clutch yesterday afternoon and its now biting properly. Should save me some headaches in Townsville. Will replace it soon along with the wheel bearing.

The wheel bearing is only effecting the car between 80-100kmh.
J: Do less than 80 or more than 100.

Also the blind showed up on Tuesday.

With it in place you cant see into the boot (when its closed), so hopefully it will deter people from breaking into it in townsville.

I'd rather buy one of these than get all my tools, sub and amp stolen. lol.

AC is getting re-gassed as i type. Cheers to Drury's Auto's for getting it done today for me.

Winter's 7 days away, what do you need the AC for?!

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

Far north QLD, going to Townsville for 4 days... Bit hard to drive with the window down on the highway in this thing and Townsville is awful at the moment with the rain.

I use AC in winter. It de-fogs the windscreens faster, If needed.

I know i have an excel spreadsheet with them all.
Got the wheel balance ($20) and it didnt resolve the issue but it made it less of a problem. Clutches for this thing are like $150 for a good one. Gonna try adjusting the cable first tho. See if dad can do anything.

Currently looking at the price of a replacement engine for the liberty. Calling around for anything thats available. Thinking if i can fix the lib cheap enough i can sell it and just use the pussy deflector until i can afford a WRX or some shit.

If I read correctly, this car was meant to be a runaround while the Liberty was broken as the Liberty was too costly to fix. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
So now you have spent more on the pussy deflector than a headgasket replacement would have cost, you are now paying rego and insurance on two cars, and want to fix the Liberty cheaply and sell it.
Now the pussy deflector needs a new clutch and wheel bearing. Jeabus.
I'm glad you don't run my business, you'd have broken me financially years ago.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm imperssed at the work you are doing, and at how cheaply you are doing it and that you are doing it yourself. Great stuff.
But your methodology toward saving money has me completely perplexed.

I'm not entirely sure about a blue plated car in QLD but a WRX converted Liberty may be something you are allowed to drive. Maybe for a couple grand more you would have had your dream car.
I'm a firm believer in research before jumping into something but I suppose that is the difference between experience and blissfully ignorant youth.

I am currently in the process of making arrangements for the liberty, i have been working on the costs/benefits for the last couple of weeks and researching every possible avenue for the liberty.

Each option is going to be more expensive than the ~$1500 that i have spent on the pussy deflector, to make it mechanically A all it needs is the wheel bearing ($80) and a new clutch ($150), anything else would be more of a comfort thing (seatcovers etc), i already cop enough shit for driving a little pussy deflector, and its pissing me off (To the point where i walked out of work for half an hour, and ditched my mates), i just want it to be more comfortable to drive so i dont feel so bad driving it around.

The thing is... im starting to like it, haha.
