Probably because it's damned hideous.i just cant get good photos of the damned thing
I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.
It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Crap, you can hardly buy bulbs for that money.Clear indicators... cause they were like $3 on ebay.
- You can but an angle grinder for $20
- If your Dad is a mechanic, he should be comfortable with installing a bearing with a hammer
- The job only takes about an hour
- If you knew the bearing is crook, you should have bought one so you can change it when the opportunity arises.
This. Jase is on the money. Improvisation is key, but that generally requires a certain level of creativity.
Jase, sometimes you've got to ask yourself, do people like this really appreciate the help you offer?
Incorrect.
I used to do FWD bearing all the time without a press. Besides, the press is only useful for assembly.
All you need is some drifts or punches, angle grinder, a decent vice and a hammer.
Start by using the pipe and a hammer to knock the hub from the spindle. This will cause half the inner race to remain on the hub.
Knock the outer race from the spindle using a drift and hammer, check if there is a retaining clip first.
Then grind the inner race down on the hub, being careful not to grind into the hub itself. What you are trying to do is make the race thin enough you can crack it with a mild hammer blow. Once it cracks, it can be tapped off.
Refit the new bearing to the spindle (using the vice to sart it if you like) by gently tapping with a hammer and drift, then gently knock fit the hub into the bearing.
Couple of tips. Drop the spindle in hot or boiling water, and the bearing in the freezer prior to fitting. this will expand the spindle and shrink the bearing so they will go together a bit eaiser. For the same reason you would put the hub in the freezer and fit when the bearing is back up to ambient temp.
Note:
This method will also work with a SUBARU.
You are an invaluable asset to this forum, but this thread is like head butting a brick wall, with little to no acknowledgment of the advice you offer.
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

I've always considered you as a mechanical God for SubyClub.
I wish I had as much knowledge as you (and some others), makes me want to get a mechanical trade and drop out of retail.
Get out of my thread.

I read all Jase's advice, I might not need to be using any of it right now but it is good to have on board because you never know when you might get stuck. Often times there are some real beauties among Jase's post that are well worth taking note of.Jase, sometimes you've got to ask yourself, do people like this really appreciate the help you offer?

Some guy was reselling them, he bought them and they didnt fit his car so picked them up cheap, they were like $3 postage was a couple more according to my ebay purchase history.Would like to know where you got your $3 side indicators from.
I have the same ones on the SP20 and they're $35ish?
All i had to do was use the existing plug and swap the bulb, then nip a bit of plastic off the plug and it fit.
