Could you please convince Dylan of the same logic??Hahaha... I've actually dulled down my exhaust a notch as it was starting to give me the shits. OEM centre pipe FTW! But now when this stereo is turned up, I hear nothing from the outside of the car - at all...

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.
It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

I'm planning on giving the car a whole lot of cleaning love this weekend. Might even head over to the unlimited car wash on Somerville Road!
I gave mine some clean loving on the weekend.
Close front roller door, open rear roller door and drive into "Marks Custom Carwash".

Fark that's a neat headunit man nice!!
Luke, I've just left my sub out of the car - once it gets put back in the exhaust is not a problem
really???
my sub and my exhaust sort of cancel each other out at certain revs... it's so wierd when you get a kick in the back from the sub but the noise from the exhaust keeps dulling down to the timing of the music... though my exhaust is a flatter tone than your 'bup bup bup bup'
i can't wait to get rid of the drone that is my exhaust note...
a reasonally quiet twin system will be the first thing i'll buy once my funds resurface from insurance ("just car" insurance want a lump sum payment up front for the first year) and getting the car engineered and stuff...

Pretty normal. If both the exhaust and sub resonate at the same frequency out of phase they effectively cancel each other out.my sub and my exhaust sort of cancel each other out at certain revs... it's so wierd when you get a kick in the back from the sub but the noise from the exhaust keeps dulling down to the timing of the music... though my exhaust is a flatter tone than your 'bup bup bup bup'
Back on topic, are you able to upgrade the maps at a later date on the headunit?

Yes. Pioneer are offering a free upgrade to 2009 maps with this unit in around August this year. I'm yet to know how they do it, but I imagine it will be via and SD card.

good thing its an OEM one, the fool before me had ISP one or somthing on mine and the gooseneck sat that close to the rear bar the trailor would touch and left some nasty scartches
did you get the wirring harness aswell?
Sure did... It's got some adapter that looks as though it plugs straight onto an OEM adapter.. Will have to dig through my workshop manual to find out where it lives.
