I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.
It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

In saying that, it is only a weekend car and does get driven spiritedly... (<-- is that even a word?)

Tristan, My GX used to get the same economy. Lowest it got to was 8/100 on my trip to Victoria.
Subaru NA's blow balls for just about everything.

In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

Are you going to catch up with a few Brizzo's while in QLD Tristan?
i'd love to come to a QLD meet if one was setup...
i'll probably have the car back from the tuner (i'm hoping it doesn't take more than a day to tune the car) by the afternoon of the 13th... and will probably hang around up there till the tuesday the 17th... unless the place bores me and i have to come home... lol

HAI!!
im here... (being labradore, south of brisbane)
i didn't die, and neither did the car... i ended up getting 600km till the light came on, i filled up when it came on just because i didn't want to get stuck between stations with no fuel...
anyway... car goes to noosa on monday, i'll keep you guys posted...
oh, and there will be lots of pics of the conversion cos al and miles like to keep track of all the jobs that they do, especially unique ones like this!
Good to hear mate, Labradore is more Goldie than Bris though

I thought you were heading to Noosa today, as I was up Sunny Coast and kept my eyes peeled on the Highway. Real keen to see how this H6 convo goes, me thinks if it works out it'll prompt some others to do it. Good Luck with the rest of it.

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

Maybe if the cost becomes a bit less prohibitive... The conversion's almost twice the value of the carI thought you were heading to Noosa today, as I was up Sunny Coast and kept my eyes peeled on the Highway. Tristan mate that's a pretty good drive to do solo. Hope you've got your coilovers on the softest setting...

Hah, lol, those coilovers wouldn't have done ya any favours but good you got there in one or two pieces.
And just to repeat Lance's question - how long will it take approximately?
they reckon it should take about 2 weeks... i'm flying back up next thursday, so i hope it's ready by then...

na, monday morning... i'm gonna brave the traffic on the way up there...
i'm keen to see how it goes too.... the ej22 is starting to feel more and more gutless... especially trying to do a pull from 100 - 120 to overtake someone in 5th gear...
it'd be good to see some other conversions the same as this done... so long as people remember i did it first... lol

the coilovers are set to the softest on the front and 2/3 of the way to soft on the rears... i should have wound them down to the softest setting in the rear but i couldn't be bothered pulling out the back seat just to do it...
on second thoughts i should have... my back is still killing me...
