Dosn't your supercheap store colour match?

32.99 for a much bigger pressure back tin mixed in store

Good job though! Not easy with a rattle can

Yeah they do the one I used is 95% correct, but think I needed to do another coat or use a darker undercoat as it has come up a bit lighter on one side. Those cans worked out cheaper as I was going to get them to make one but two of those cans equal the same amount as one can they provide. Here are some pics after I gave it a buff and a polish by hand, wish I had a machine as its still needs a better buff but got really tired by the end lol.

Hahahaaa that's not bad at all bro!

Well forking done!

It's so hard to get a good finish with cans. Great work!

I'd paint the whole grille black though.  Would look heaps better. ;)

A grey undercoat would have got the colour a bit closer aswell! But good job!

Yeah I think it turned out better than my expectation. I was never hoping for a pro job, just look good from far away.

I was thinking to paint it black, as the inside bit is a grey colour and was thinking it would look better satin black

Yeah I thought this after lol, As when you look into it you can actually see that its lighter because you can see the white underneath. I didn't think of it till after though.

Yeah its all I was aiming for, to make it a little less noticeable. Like the white looked crap and really stood out. I would do it again in a heart beat, it was really fun to do and gave me something to do. So in my view its a little better to do it myself as one day when I buy a spray gun for my compressor I will get better one day lol.

Well all up for the 3 was like USD$140 incl. shipping. the more you buy the bigger the discount. the armrest cover was like USD$54. it comes with some padding also and you can choose extra padding it you want. Ive been meaning to buy them for a long time. Will see how good it is once they arrive.

I am in the process of buying a low KM VF34 and a STI TMIC to start my path of upgrades. I am still unsure of what ECU to get for the car to get it tuned? Does anyone have much info for what Tuners in Canberra are able to tune? I was really looking at getting a Power FC unit, but unless one pops up somewhere then its around $1,400 for a brand newy. Not that the cost puts me off but if there is something out that is just as good then I would go that.

What is the easiest way to get some new injectors put in to give me some headroom?

So I have got most of my parts together for a bit more power.

VF34 turbo, STI TMIC, Apexi AVC-R and also just bought a Power FC unit with a Z32 AFM setup. Not sure if I should use the Apexi AVC unit or not.

Still not sure what I should do about injectors, have been told I can make safe power with just the stock 440's but Have also heard I should go bigger. But not sure how I go about converting my setup to Top feed to put some STI pinks in.

Get your 440's high flowed - you can take them to around 800cc and still retain the standard spray pattern. Mine are just shy of 800cc.

If you need more than that, well look at top feed - but with your setup, you wont...

No - whoever does it should be able to flow match them. My injectors are actually a lot better matched now than they were before I had them flowed!

What was the cost of high flowing them sbv? Will likely get my 550s high flowed if you can almost double it.

Cheers,

Ben

Was about $350 I think. You can definitely get more out of them but I got as much as possible while retaining the 4 hole spray pattern.

The denso ones may be a different story as I'm not sure what spray pattern they have. I'd check with SnJ - they did mine.

Have all my parts bar the injectors, have no been able to find a place local to do them. But have found some 600cc side feed injectors for around the same price you quoted to OEM ones decapped so might go this route.

Yeah the 600cc injectors sound like a good option.

Out of interest these injectors don't get decapped. The existing holes get bored out. It's quite a bit more fiddly that a simple decap.
