And literally 30-45 minutes later, I get an email saying that I've progressed to the next stage of the recruitment process! Can't believe it! And on top of that, retained firefighter positions have opened up, and there are three fire stations that are within a suitable distance that I can apply for!Air Traffic Controller at Airservices.

And literally 30-45 minutes later, I get an email saying that I've progressed to the next stage of the recruitment process! Can't believe it! And on top of that, retained firefighter positions have opened up, and there are three fire stations that are within a suitable distance that I can apply for!

im fairly sure i read somewhere that Air Traffic controllers have the highest rate of suicide of any occupation.

How are we chaps? Had a pretty cruisey day today. Went to work till 11:30, then went out to a branch manager lunch at Manly Grill. Had a $52 300g Kobe Wagyu Porterhouse steak, and a half rack of ribs. Finished it off with a flaming creme brûlée. Had a few beers as well. Can't remember what it was called. A paulhousen or something.

Seriously cubts,right off.

Nah different one. That big one (space shuttle size) will be able to be seen through binoculars. Apparently passing around 30,000kms from earth. Basically, closer then what satellites orbit.

"Disco Potato," as the others suspected, comes from the B15 Nissan Sentra that supposedly was the first to use that particular turbo. If I remember correctly, Steve Mitchell of Nissan USA built the car and either requested or was hooked up with the unique variant of the GT28 from Garrett engineers.
If I'm wrong regarding any of the aforementioned details, it's been a few years since my SCC-memorizing ass read this stuff.
(BTW: "Disco" comes from the car's crazy orange metallic paint, and "potato" comes from the affectionate nickname given to the B15 Sentra by those who likened the car's round silhouette to the Irish food staple.)

I think it might actually have something to do with their insurance stuff.
