Consolidating your debts isn't something that younger people like you and I often think about. I know a few people that think "yeah I'll do it next month", then that turns into many months, even years. I've got a debt as well when I bought my iMac, but it's on one of those two year interest free things. They try and screw you over by saying that you only need to pay $30 a month for example, but when you divide the total cost by 24 months, it's a little more then that. I pay that little bit more and sometimes extra when I can, so by the time the interest free period is up, I am free.

No worries. Sounds like a good plan. What are you thinking of getting?

Those interest free things are pretty sweet. So long as you pay them off before the promo thing happens. You're right though Jerry, making the minimum repayments only will get you into a whole lot of strife, and will NOT pay it off before the end.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

im keeping what im getting under wraps at the moment, because its a very big If as to whether its going to happen or not. i will say though that the plan is to stay in the Subaru Family. only Cam on here knows what i am thinking of getting (No telling cam!!!)
i keep looking at a few mates of mine, earn less than i do, and are paying off bigger car loans than i am, and seeing them living week to week and struggling. decided i dont want to be like that and realised i can be in a better position financially than what i am now with a few sacrifices such as the car.

That's where they make their money anyway. If people can't keep up to date with these sorta things they shouldn't use it. But they are a very convenient thing to have. I'm part of two of them; Everyday Money (Woolworths) and GE CreditLine (aka GE Money).
I need more money. I would like a new job. Being on a traineeship wage (although very good compared to other traineeships/apprenticeships) at my age is disgusting.
No worries Mark. Understood. And that's a very good thing to do. I've got a mixture of mates, those with amazing higher paying jobs, already have a house, etc, then I have the 'in betweeners' which is where I think I am, then you have the people that live week to week, and like you have described, are struggling. I used to struggle in my previous job; absolutely hated it. With my current job I am at least comfortable, but still not where I would like to be.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Kind of like my plan too. I wanna travel the world with my girlfriend before settling down and getting into things like that otherwise I feel my life won't be complete. Ha ha. This is probably just my young age talking but I seem to always want more then I have, money and job wise. Ambitious? Greedy? I don't know what you could call it but yeah.the plan is after im done travelling over the next few years to buy a house. plenty of places i want to go see first around the world though.

Larry, Nothing wrong with always wanting more money and a better job, that is the drive that will help you be successful, people who sit around happy with what they are doing generally live a mediocre existence and don't accomplish too much.
