XP is still the best OS.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Still using a 16" CRT Morgan?

I've got 7 on the PC at home, and can't stand some of the features.

Whats wrong with it? an old PC at work still have XP on it. I feel like I'm in a time machine everytime I have to use it.

You know when you open 2 Mozilla windows, it keeps it as one window on the little bar down the bottom. Annoying as hell.

Nah Windows 8 is the new XP. It's just so quick!

It's painful to get used to but OK once you force yourself to use it. Still light years ahead of OSX but that's another argument.

It was a bit of a strange one. CVs are 82000km old so wouldn't have though so.

No constant grinding noise with the bearings. Just in carparks at full lock, there is a clicking sound (like you would hear with CVs)

That same sound is apparently wheel bearings stalling in the hub flange. So replacing wheel bearings and hub flanges is in order. (~$1200)

Coilovers and big offset wheels wouldn't help.

I have the exact same problem! I replaced my front drive shafts but the noise returned after 2 days.

I hope by replacing them that mine will be fixed too. Might be a job for next week.

1. Right click taskbar --> Properties
2. Taskbar buttons --> Never combine
3. Ok

Pricing from Subaru:
bearings $178.40 x2
seals $32.10 x4
hub flange $314.95 x2

Total $1115.10

Right click taskbar - properties - taskbar buttons. Change to never combine.

Problem solved.

Looks like im a bit late with my reply

You can't be serious? Yeah its pretty speedy but the user interface is terrible! I would take XP over 8 any day.

I agree the metro UI is pretty painful.

Its fine on tablets but anything else its crap. So glad I'm not selling computers anymore. It was hard enough convincing people to buy vista. Let alone something that so different for the average user.
