It's a swing role, so everything from light production to bottling, to serving customers. The recently single bloke in me is fighting to hire a couple of birds, but deep down I know I need a bloke to fill at least one of the roles - the other one is really just weekends. We had another bunch of 'louts' in today, and another bloke on deck would just make us feel a bit easier.

Tough one.

But like I said, it's nice to have the luxury of choosing staff for once. Obviously shows people (they are all easily qualified) are keen to work here!

Did I tell you I have 13 years front of house Restaurant experience prior to Gardening...The wine list at 1 place was over 500 listings - altough the 2003 Canberra bushfires took out the bosses off site cellar, so the numbers dwindled. I can cook and garden too

At 6ft and 70kg's, I can't even give you a moob of any description...nor be much help with your 'louts'
Put it this way, I'm def's coming over in September (have already got my free accomm sorted with STechnic Doug and Marilyn) and would love to have a 'proper' look about when I'm out west. It's always appealed to me, but to be honest, I've got a pretty sweet life here...and don't really feel like starting from 'square one' at 40...

That'll be good Nik. I'm getting the travel plan sorted, but at this stage, I'm aiming for a full month off, so hopefully I get at least 10days over west. Petrol is gonna kill me, as I'm coming across the 'long way' (via Tas) and heading home up the red centre, west through mt Isa to Townsville, then back down the East coast...20,000k's or so, easy.

Wagon. I'll have it sorted by then...will have a heap of spares/trailer etc. Doug will service when there.
Need cruise control...
It'll be a 'not messing around' trip through the guts of Oz as I've done the slow way before. I'll take it to the big rock though, Uluru is awesome. Devils marbles is Epic too...
I'm hoping to visit a few 'tracks' on the way around...just gotta try and work out what's on where, when.
