So. Been feeling uninspired and unenthusiastic with cooking for myself recently, and don't really want to slip into boring habits in the kitchen. Bloke suggested we do a different category dish each week on our respective days off to keep our minds right. Really broad strokes. So this week is pasta.

Yeah, its a bit on the pricey side, but meh. YOLO.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

im not much of a pasta fan nik but that looks pretty delicious!

Yeah photography/video is pretty expensive hey Shaz, im trying to get a new 60d and a few lenses, going to end up around 1600 dollars i think

Yeah. I think the initial equipment purchase is the killer though. I mean, the camera alone was $2k with the 18-200mm.

Then you're looking at a few hundred here, few hundred there, etc.

yeah the initial stuff is bad. im looking at $1-1200 for what im after. but will be worth it. once i get my new equipment im going to try and do alot more photography work

Yep, agreed. I would eventually like to make some cash off the videos, so the equipment pays for itself. Thats the plan anyway.

Shaz, highly recommend getting something (or building something as you've mentioned) that protrudes with a counterbalance over your back. This makes all the difference when moving around as the rig is balanced on your shoulders. You don't get the pitching motion that makes video look cheap.
