Wayyyy better than hanging around with 20 somethings...

.... but the sexual attraction thing can make the night a bit depressing. Still. Old people rock. Except when you're in my situation, and realise all your mates are much older than you, so I am without a wingman in my time of need.

I might have to start going to the supermarket during normal hours to pick up. I generally try to get in and get out of town as quick as possible.

Go for it... she was married to a biker... who was my wife's dad... and he died in a bike accident on the speedway when my wife was 5... This was back in NZ, so he was in some gang there called The Riders or something... Harleys everywhere at their place back then... vintage ones too

I'm twenty seven. Most mates are at least 30, most around 35. I listen to AM radio, exclusively.

I can't stand most of the females in their early twenties these days. Odd thing is, bloke that I work with, we hang out a fair bit, when we hit one of the local watering holes and I'm talking to some younger birds he's always right into me 'going for it' - but I just think WAY too much. Too much thought into what is going to happen in a week, a year or longer. Puts me off YO!

I'm happy with my job/lifestyle. They all want to be fuckin' free spirits and go backpacking and shit.

DAY IF FFFLLYYINNGG!

DAY HASN'T STAAAAAAARTED

I have a meeting with the cops at 10. That should be interesting. They're rolling out a free security package. I only found out second hand.... I wonder why they wouldn't want me? (I'm a member of the accord remember) to know about it?

HMMM

I WONDER?!?!

Who here has installed a reversing camera?

Posted Image that was a pain in the arse haha.

Had to take off pretty much every piece of trimming in the rear of the car to run/hide the cable, I was still installing it at 10:30 last night.

But, here it is:

Works a treat, when I put it in reverse, it turns on so I don't reverse over one of my many children. As Forester owners have many children.
Also, bluetooth audio streaming is awesome. And I hard wired the handbrake wire so I can watch porn from a DVD on the go.

this is true. the head coach of our state team is in his late 50's, has been my coach for the past 8 years. anywho when we went to state champs in Sydney last month i offered to drive him, he spent the entire drive there and back telling me all his stories from over the years of his involvement in the sport, all the people, different tournaments, ive never laughed so much in my life, i thought i was going to crash at one point i was laughing so much.

You can use it every time I drive past you.

Because you'll feel like you're going in reverse.

I totally agree... when I was younger and dating, I couldn't stand girls my own age or younger... one of the best relationships I had was with a law student who was about 5 years older than I was... LOL! only thing that scared me there was she was looking to get married soon, and I was only 22...

But I ended up marrying someone 3 years older than me... which some people make fun of, but she is mature and nice and is good to me, which are all important in a relationship... most other girls these days are too out there and too modern... I'm more old fashioned and I was lucky to find an old fashioned type woman to marry... :)

Co-signed.

Only prospect I'm even considering right now has just finished a psychology degree. Wondering if that means I'm a long term 'experiment'.

The others are just brain dead or gold diggers.

If your boss doesn't give you the day off to watch, I'll get Bob Hawke on his arse.

I started at 7 today.. practically the end of the day by Niks standards haha.

Just a few hours left, then providing the weather doesn't get worse I shall be flying home :)

Worked out well, sisters bf had to drop someone off at brisbane airport so he will pick me up on the way back to town :).
