Yep Zac, life begins at 45.

Haha... And here I am... playing just under 30... LOL!

Oh well, unless I always drive in tippy mode, I can't get to around 45 easily...

The accelerator is the one on the right, you should try it sometime.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

You are joking right... I thought the accelerator was on the left... because auto?

Just give it a bit of a flooring for God's sake! If it's on the highway you can't get in trouble, and you'll only pay an extra dollar for fuel!

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Haha... Don't worry my blue friend... I do floor it quite a bit... up to about 6500 before it changes... but yeah... still will check for a leak... just for peace of mind...

So guys, just installed my boost guage today (woohoo!) and yeah, checking out some readings...

I'm guessing about 10-11psi on primary, didn't really get a change to hit secondary yet.... does that sound right?

when not boosting, the vac sits on -20... is that ok?

I don't really know what the -20 means... but shouldn't the primary boost be higher?

Sounds about right to me mate.

I would have thought the boost would be a bit higher than that with an Ecu :fork: tune though.

Haha... thanks mate... I would think it would be higher too... but I don't think there is a tune... dude who sold me the car told me the ECU was swapped with a stock one..so no tune on it..

Anyway, I guess 10psi on primary I can live with.. will see what happens when I reach secondary... did see the VOD though, dropped about 3-5psi but didn't see peak psi on secondary yet... but I will in time...

Thanks boss... :)

1st and 2nd gear revs quick. You should see primary boost up to 14psi or so if you floor the throttle in 3rd or 4th gear starting from 2500rpm...

Thanks man, I'll have to try that sometime... I started in first and stayed in 1st till about 6000rpm, then changed into 2nd... in tippy auto... and yeah, the highest I saw it go was 11psi...

It'll hit around 14psi at full boost, however after the secondary joins the party peak boost is lower to my knowledge. I can see 14psi if I launch heavy off a set of lights and take it up around 4k.

Hmmm.... 14psi... will look for that sometime... I guess 10 isn't too bad... but yeah, I can actually see the dip in the VOD now...

I'd seriously hate to be you guys.

I would have converted to a single long ago if that's all my twins could manage.

Some of us have other priorities in life.

It will go high at 15ish, loose some on changeover, then rise again. This is pretty normal operation for the TT. You should show an acceleration video (in automatic mode, not tiptronic) if you're that worried about it Zac.

Haha.... I haven't mounted it properly yet, not looking forward to drilling into my steering column plastics... so might double sided tape mount it... but yeah, once the wiring is done(another headache for me) I don't know how I'm going to hide the hose and wire...

A new cover from a wreckers would be like $10. Drilling would be the neatest.

AC vent FTW. Zero visible cabling ;)
