Just started playing around with the GoPro today. My first bit of footage. Very rough but I will get the hang of it.

350Z are rubbish. Massive blind spots, cramped, shit sounding engine and suspension rougher then coilovers.

Having driven a 350Z for ten minutes I consider myself an expert, and seriously I would never buy one. Apparently the 70 is light years ahead, but on paper I just don't see it....?

Yeah, I don't hate them, but there's lots of other things I would be doing with $30K.

Thanks Pete... yeah I should hang out with more hands on people who know their stuff... I wouldn't mind being able to do an engine swap myself one day... I'd need space too though, only got a car space I can use in my house now... LOL!

JasHoon...how long has your mate had that SLR 8000? I remember it from Summernats WAAAAAAAY long ago.

He bought it new, genuine SLR5000.
Played around with the 308 for a bit then fitted a 202 turbo (back in the day when no one knew what one was) running more than 20psi with a carb. Tried blow through and draw through set ups and ended up with about 600hp but it kept splitting blocks.
Started the big block build with a alloy headed LS7 but moved to the 479 Keith Black alloy block before the LS7 went in the car.

Thing is a work of art from an engineering standpoint.

I would have been at the same Summernats as you!
First was 6 and the last was 12. (I think as it was a while ago...)

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Ahhh damn... sux... damn Sydney... another negative there... lol... thanks for the offer though... I'd love to have a space where I can get the car up and check it out... pull some things out and put them back where I found them and just be able to replace things myself when I need to...

Oh well... maybe one day... but for now, maybe I'll have a go with the oil and see what else I can do in time...

Thanks again for the kind offer mate... if only... :)

I honestly owe ALL my knowledge to Subaru forums and the Friends I have made through those forums. It really is amazing what a few years with constant helpful information/advice/tech threads...
Really is what it's all about. I am always in awe of the amount of knowledge that is available...

A blow thru/draw thru pushing 600hp is a work of art indeed.
