So you will be getting the Vogel bracket I take it? Have you thought about how you will be running cables and the distance behind the TV you will need?

Not sure on what it's called yet.

Yeah. I'll be making a hole behind the TV to run all the cables; antenna and ethernet. I'll be putting a shelf underneath the TV once it's on the wall which is where my powerboard will be, providing power for the TV, my PS3 and anything else I want to have up there. This ensures that the TV can be as close as it can be to the wall.

I would've preferred to get the original Samsung wall mounts but they don't sell them any more for my model apparently...

Yeah it will be the Vogel, sits 24mm from the wall.

Yep Samsung don't make those brackets anymore however If you want me too, I can see if the ones I have are the right ones for your TV and send it up to your mate.

How much are they and what ones can you get? Cause the ones he can get are $105. Is there a reason why Samsung stopped making them? Would you have any Samsung ones laying around in the store down there?

Also Gaz, I have 2 tv mounts I cant use because they arent wide enough to hit studs in my walls. are you going into wall studs or concrete?

That sounds about right for the bracket, I don't why they stopped making them, although they weren't very popular so that could be one reason, there are some sitting at the store
but I am not sure what size and which model they are, i can check for you on Tuesday when I go back.

I can give you all the details of my TV via private message for you to have a look, and if they aren't the right ones I can get the mounts off 'dam. If they still aren't right I'll go to my mate.

Cut a hole in wall (Bottom and Behind TV), install this and run cables from bottom of wall, to behind TV. Or get one of these and DIY or Sparky to install it behind the TV, cut 25mm hole in top corner, feed cables out through it, enjoy stealth install of cables

Yeah But Callum alot of customers forget about this and just want to mount the tv on the wall, then when they get it home they realise that they should have put more thought into it.
I grill customers with questions when they come in for a wall bracket.

You can get the bullnose plates that are inverted also. Thats what I'd put behind the tv
