18's look mad, i use to run 18's but how the hell do people drive around and not scrub when going hard,
I found 18's useless around corners even with rolled pumped guards and lowered they would hit my coilover nuts and bottom out on the top of the guard constantly with 8kg fronts and full dampner.

Weird.
ATM I'm driving on my 17" Gen4 rims and they feel shit compared to my 18" rims. The 18's have so much more grip and no wall flex in comparison. Heaps bumpier ride on 18's but worth it when you chuck it into corners.

For the primary you need one that looks like this .... http://www.ebay.com....b76a8181&_uhb=1
and for the secondary, you need one in this shape http://www.ebay.com....a51e1663&_uhb=1
They're the ones I used. I had to shorten the retaining springs with piers to make them fit nice & tight.

Combined with heat wrapped TBE there is a noticeable improvement on heat soak to the IC.
I didn't have heat shields in place.

Ebay have them. http://www.ebay.com....cat=0&_from=R40
You have to modify the mounting brackets for it to fit.

Or cheat and get the WRX mounting brackets like I did
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

I have been putting it off for ages but finally got around to fixing the clunk from the rear end. The diff bushes were absolutely shot and the wheel bearings were pushed to the limit of grindage. I ripped out the standard rear subframe from the Heritage which had seen over 400,000 k's and replaced it with B4 goodness. LSD, B4 shafts and ventilated rear brakes along with some Whiteline additives. The difference is amazing. It 's so nice to drive now.
The diff bushes.....
LOL
The old subframe & diff which has seen better days.....
The new with diff bush inserts and fresh oil....
Not a fun job to do in the sun. Crack burn and skinless knuckles due to lack of vision from the glare coming off my pool which is right next to the driveway.
May I say also "fork I HATE THE SMELL OF DIFF OIL!!!!"
Putrid stuff. Lingers for days under your nails and in your hair.
More to come soon.

Sucked arse.
Thank jebus for air tools. It was so hot, I'd do a bit then have to stop for a beer. If it wasn't for SubyClub browsing and beer I would have smashed it in a few hours. In the end it took about 20hrs.

I have the same low line trolley....
Nice work on the changeover. Manual trans/diff oil is indeed the worst smell.
