i got told by someone somewhere brass handles the heat better then stainless. Like it doesn't bind up like stainless on stainless does.
Also brass nuts are bit easier to cut off then stainless.
i'm sure Jase can bring some technical info into this, and hopefully not prove me wrong

pizza and garlic bread in the oven. gonna take some stuff back to dads later tonight and might go for a drive through newy.
from that even bank account thing you guys told me the other day ive already put $20 in.
$20 itself isnt much, but for not trying and money i'd just waste its good to know it'll be saved and over a month or so should add up!

I should really not down 3 LC PA's in 1/2 an hour.
Brass nut are less likely to seize on the studs like steel ones.
If you are using stainless nuts AND studs, you MUST use some anti seize on the threads or they will lock together, heat or not. Sounds odd but true.
I use a copper based hi temp grease on all exhaust threads and cooling system threads as a form of insurance.
That was waaay harder to type than it should have been. Might go have some dinner......and another beer.
BEER

Just lick it off her. Win/win.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
