Kudos to pete indeed for it. saved me many headaches. me and cam were talking about it last night and had a feeling it was a bit dodgy and the price was far too high, pete just helped confirm it. idea has been scrapped. new potential car is already in the works and plans are in motion!

I guess, but any time I've had to go to the "Genius Bar" at Apple I have had no issues. They deal with the problems quickly, and so far I've had a good run. Nothing has ever had to be fixed/replaced again. I took my iMac in a couple of months back as they had a recall on the hard drive. Apparently some of them went bang, and even though mine was all good, I did it anyway for a new hard drive.

 

I am thinking of reporting my phone and exaggerating some faults (which it barely has). You pay a small fee and the phone gets replaced. Sell the phone and you get the money you spent, plus profit. All in preparation for the new iPhone.

Played with the new Nexus 7 today, it's like the old one except black, it will also sell out as quick as the ipads every time they update because its such a "huge" update.

What do you rate the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 (8.0") and/or the Samsung GALAXY Note 8.0? I'm thinking of buying one for my girlfriend.

It's half the price of an ipad though, and I don't think it's as much of a huge update, otherwise they would have called it the Nexus 7 Two or something

The Note's are a better tablet.

Good, light weight, fast (dual-core), great picture. The Tab 3 is just Samsungs version of an ipad, with android, the Note is not much different, slightly heavier, quad-core and S-pen.

 

I do like them, they do actually sit quite well in the hand as opposed to the ipad mini which just feels bulky.
