Absolutely love it!

The damaged bumpers also add to the unassuming look ;)

Thanks guys,

I was just looking back at the build and working out time and money spent.

First thanks to my mate Rob for all the help during the build, thanks to Ben and the guys at Ichiban for the parts and advice, also thanks to the guys at AM Auto for the high quality loom splice and advice. Thanks to you guys on here for the help and encouragement along the way too.

I estimate the swap took around 8.5 weeks which was pretty solid with a little work done most days, maybe 1.5 weeks in between where nothing was done like Christmas and when I was waiting for the loom to return.

Was the rebuild in house or did you sublet?

Sounds cheap

The gearbox? I was there getting my hands dirty too which cut down on the labour costs, plus I removed and installed the box. The bearing replaced was new and the gear was a used part in good condition.

Mines crunching slightly into 3rd. What's the average cost for a rebuild? Or syncros?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Stunning work Joel! This build was great fun to follow and now that it's come to the end, you can enjoy it. Definitely keen to see it in person. The engine bay looks very different and MUCH cleaner mate. A job well done!

great build to follow. a tune would set this off. not for power but fuel economy and torque

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans
