Most likely aftermarket, been taking a look at the haltech elite 750 series recently.

I dont think the 750 does 6cyl does it? 1500 is what youd need

According to the haltech site it can run a 6 cylinder engine and has 6 fuel and ignition outputs, the 1500 has 4 fuel and ignition, and the 2500 had 8. Would have thought it'd be the other way around

Yeah noticed that when I checked out the site this morning
The elite series is a different kettle of fish to the platinum sports

750 sounds like they way to go.
I'd check with haltech first though
You need to make sure you have enough out puts to run air conditioning and cooling fans
Stuff like that

intredasting. Does the 750 do knock control and all that? Must be smaller and cheaper for a reason

Things have been going pretty slowly lately, been flat out with work. We've sold the 06 Impreza and bought something a bit quicker now that the woman has her full license, another outback previously owned by Joel, with the complete 205 conversion.

Should hopefully see some new brakes, bumpers and suspension mods on it down the track. Plus all the spare goodies from my car.

Got a his and hers now, that's a bit cute.

Saw you'd posted an update, got all excited about what could have been. Better hurry up and get those new goodies together, old man river might be finished his conversion before you're done...

Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

New wheels to replace the ugly Outback stocko's, OZ racing superleggara, 18x8 +35. The design is pretty similar to my Enkei GTC01s.

Also in the pic above is some sneaky audio gear, which is now in.

Oh yes, Superleggera twins! That is a sweet offset too.

PS if you ever want to sell those OZs let me know.

Been busy fixing up and acquiring some new parts for the '02 Outback.

Have some cool parts on the way from japan; weathershields (if they dont break), legacy garnish, sti pedals.

Been chasing a few issues with a misfire which turned out to be loose plugs and a squealing AC belt which turned out to be a broken tensioner. $4 for a replacement part, which I bundled with some of the items I need for the delift.

Picked up a set of 4/2 pots from what looks like a GC8. (Raised lettering), I wasn't aware that these also came with a rear 2 pot caliper, unless they were available on a type RA-R STI or something?

Also fitted over my old B4 mirrors and extra set of black door cards to remove all the grey in the car.

Hey Sam if the new outback needs a set of black plastic door sill panels, let me know. I have a set in Newcastle.
