I would say that the hard drive has died or has some other form of error.

Not much use changing that battery over, it's just for the CPU clock.

I would get into bios and double check that the hard drive appears and its set up as the primary boot device.

This. Haz is a NERD!!!

But on other news, yes, check out the boot in bios and make sure there isn't a disk in the drive and no USB plugged in on startup

Don't really know what im doing but meh.

If all else fails, the guys at work can deal with it.

Start up test failed due to primary battery.

Thanks mate. I'll give it to the IT guys at work. If anything is stuffed they will more than likely have tge parts there or order them in at no cost to me.

Perks of the job.

Geeks can molest it.

Hi again,

The IT gurus at work got me up and running again, however, just tried to log on to Facebook and apparently something is interfering with a secure connection. Same goes for everything but Subyclub. Can't google stuff.

HSTS error

Any tips?

I googled it and this was an interesting cause of HSTS error.

My g/f's laptop had this problem too, but with every ssl protected site I tried.
Buuut it turned out the internal clock reset itself after the being depraved of juice for too long, so windows thought it was 2009.
Resetting the time/date fixed the HSTS failure issue.

So how's your laptop's clock?

The time was out actually, by about 3 hrs.  I went into settings and changed it back manually. Still nothing.

Updated the internet time.....BINGO!

All fixed.

Thanks Lads

Such a simple fix. I've never heard of this issue before.

Nah, it's pretty normal. If the time is incorrect heaps of stuff won't work!

Yep.

It just means Windows was installed without being connected to the internet at the time. That's why it happens.

Nerds!

Tempered glass screen protectors.
Worth it? Or just a gimmick?

Worth it. Got one on my S4 and it is awesome. More clear than the usual screen protectors and feels nice. Only thing is that since it is thicker, when it is on the screen, it makes pressing the home button on the Samsungs a little harder, but some places sell a little home button sticker to use if using the tempered glass screen protector
