The original nexus 7 had a update that fkd the charging software. . There is a way to get it to turn on.. then you have to update it. . Fixes the problem. .
Mine did it. . Was uber ****... If it went flat it just wouldn't charge until I did this bloody button charger plug in un plug plug in combo. .. pita bit now it works like new. ... When I ever use it. ..
It's a good $300 paper weight most of the time lol

Anything acer.. burn in hell..
We are supplying a heap of the Asus zenbooks at the moment. .. They are GREAT
Also Sony vaios are going to be cheap soon. . Sony sold their pc side of the company so expect some clearouts soon.
The new vaio pro is a nice unit.
Oh and the Samsung ultra 7's
Again a nice tidy unit at a good price.
I don't sell anything non Ultrabook.. The#1 thing to make sure your choice includes is SSD... It is a absolute must have these days

Where the hell do you work now?
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

There is a Google support page for it. .
You have to plug it in. The screen kinda goes grey and the backlight cones on for a sec. You have to press and hold the power for 30 secs then while holding unplug the charger and plug it back in again then prey it turns on. .. There are a few variations so try them all..
Also it must be the original charger and cable out compatible cable. .. Not all cables can handle the higher amps and it doesn't charge right. .. and finally. . There was a recall on faulty nexus chargers. . Very early ones. . But of you have one it won't charge either.
My nexus never charges on anything but the original charger and my Samsung micro usb.. or the asus oem cable. . Everything else it says charging but actually goes flat lol.
Ash.. I'm a consultant but we do supply a fair bit of hardware. . Especially lappys to executives.

Oh right..
Well I looked in to. It charges, but so forking slow! It thinks it's plugged in to USB. It doesn't detect the AC charger. Turns out it's a Kit Kat issue and it's happened to like everyone. I'm gonna try downgrading it to Jellybean or something and see if it resolves it.

So if I was to return to a Windows machine, building my own, would it be worth getting one with a separate graphics card instead of on board graphics? I'm not a gamer and just trying to see if on board is getting much better than it used to. My current Imac has a separate graphics card at the moment, but wanting to see if I can keep the cost down.

I would put one in. You can get stuff for around $100 which is decent enough and you could play a game or 2 if you wanted.

I bought a macbook pro with integrated graphics today. This is my first computer without one but I don't really play games on computers anymore so I'll see how it goes.

This. Also won't be defeated by hd video and such as easily as an onboard cardI would put one in. You can get stuff for around $100 which is decent enough and you could play a game or 2 if you wanted.

I can't complain too much... I have a MacBook pro at home from my old job, and I'm typing this on an Apple USB keyboard I brought from home to work because it is so much better than the logitech keyboards they have here... but I'm not an Apple fanboy... lol

Dudes,
Need to build a PC Capable of doing some 3D Cad work. Current system:
Processor: Intel® Xeon® CPU e3-1240 V2 @ 3.40GHz
8GB Ram (prefer to bump up to 16)
and an Nvidia Quadro 2000.
Works well but gets laggy with bigger models.
Any suggestions as to what to get?

Dude at work said get more RAM and SSD if possible...
He said your GFX is good enough, and since it is working well but laggy, the RAM and SSD should help with the lag

Aparently the rendering part relies heavily on CPU power..
Got this from another website. Most of it I don't really understand.
As for CPU's, I would strongly recommend getting a six-core i7 instead of quad core, mainly for rendering speed which is CPU-based. Core count is why I recently- two days ago added the 2nd Quad core Xeon to the Precision T5400. On the Passmark Performance Test, the CPU score went from 4800 to 8500- about equal to an i7-3770K, but I know that the 8 cores will be an advantage in renderings. I have a project that will have 40+ large, high resolutions renderings and I can assign all 8 cores to the job.
