Took car down to replace engine mount... apparently engine mount is all good... but did an oil change and charging me $230 for it... wtf...

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Ha ha, it's definitely a good thing to have but at the end of the day, you know exactly what I'm talking about. :P

I would have man, but I needed to drop my car off there on a weekday and ben is too far from my house for me to drop it off and still get to work on time... this place was closer to the station and my house, so more convenient... and this guy was recommonneded... we'll see what was done.. apparently did some break stuff too... hmm...

 

 

 

 

Said the oil leak is from the timing cover, not rocker cover gasket.. that isn't good is it?

Yeah... this ain't a Calais and it ain't a dealship... like wtf... he told me it would be like $140 for the oil change.. so what else did he do... sigh... going to have to find out after work...

Hopefully the price is justified. I'd hate to pay that sorta money for a bloody oil change...

Pffft yeah... tell me about it... better not be just an oil change... when I called up, they said the mech who worked on the car went home for lunch so I can talk to him when I pick the car up... and why wasn't the leak fixed, which is what I told them i wanted to do...

 

List was:

 

1) Fix engine mount if that was problem for vibrations in steering wheel

2) Fix oil leak

3) Oil change, but call me before u do it and I'll decide...

 

And what do they do?

 

Oil change and charge a shite load...

I've not gone to anyone else for my Liberty other than ICHIban so far. Unless it is something I can do myself.

My dad is a metal fabricator... so no...

 

I'd tell them that and not pay them until you come to a conclusion.

I would, but I don't think that would work out too well.... we'll see what they have to say about shite... they said the engine mounts were fine in the car... then why does the wheel vibrate so much when idling at the lights?

I pay $43 for a service, which is the cost of goods in my driveway.
