man thats going to drone like a mofo

Hope not, wont be doing that much highway or long drives for at least another 6 months. Might have a new one by then

Ahhh... good ol' Gen1 wet fart sound. Takes me back!

Looking tidy man, keep up the good work. Interior is very clean..

Thanks, Can't think of a different way to describe it since reading that  :scratch_one-s_head:

I'm really happy on how the interior looks, must've been helped by the rubber floor mats.

It's slightly lighter than the cars paint but seeing as though the boot is black it hopefully wont seem that different

Daylight and fitted pictures will hopefully come tomorrow if not saturday.

I'm currently working on the engine to find out if the head gasket is failing but once that's done it might be a good idea to try to find one.

Thanks, It's going to stay like this for now but I'm looking at some possibly spraying the car with EBC in a similar colour to Simon's wagon.

I wouldn't waste the money if I was you. Been there, regretted that.

Car is looking good, mate.

Thanks guys, getting closer to getting my p's, only one more month hopefully.

Alloys back on after getting some new tyres on the front. Currently looking at some king springs to bring the car down a little. I considered coilovers but they are well above my price range and depending on make, cost more than the car did

Did a little photoshop on an old picture to get an idea what i might aim to get done, thought this looked good. Lowered, Wheels painted and Exterior trim painted black.

Excuse the shaking but here's another video of the exhaust.

Ordered some king springs a few days ago, was going to go with coilovers but as it's a fwd there seemed like possible compatibility issues on the rear.

Spent today installing the springs, ended up just the right height I was looking for  :D

The fronts came out and went in easily but the backs were much harder as the space to work on the tophats is very small.

How does it feel now?

Haven't really driven it much, only a few minutes but from that there's definitely a stiffness compared to the old springs. It doesn't roll around corners as much as it used to.
