Custom badges arrived to go in place of the guard indicators. Exact copy of the GC8 STi fender badge but made to the exact shape of the Gen3 indicator so it sits in the recess perfectly.

[quote name="Jimbo" post="482954" timestamp="1400325624"]Nice work Mark!
Didn't think you would pass that one up. Had that of been available at the time i was buying, would've snapped it up. Looks to be a 2001+ model. Check under the oil cap.
Wonder how many Gen3 GTB's we can get in the one place at the one time! This makes number 4 actively on the forums at the moment.....

Well this is 2016 now so what my Gen3 come in at in this group? They seem to be a rare vehicle

I don't think Barbados comes into the count here, my friend. GTB's aren't/weren't available to our domestic market back in the day, so only way to get them here is if they are personally imported from their country of origin.

Start up a new thread for your ride, we'd love to see it!

Hey Mark,

What paint did you use to black out your wheel wells/inner guard areas?

I ask as I'm considering the same on the RS, it's a bit of a mix match as if someone has already painted before then driven on gravel roads for ages...

Your subi is looking mint ;)

Cheers

Bennie

Cheers Bennie. :)

I used a Rust Guard satin black enamel and a one inch brush for application.

Badge exists, it's a genuine badge for GC8. I had it made to my exact specs by someone who already had it available as a cheaper copy.

Not 100% happy that I had to go a copy but sometimes you have to do what works. Couldn't get anything oem to suit and two side indicators looked weird imo.

I'm very surprised that you, "Mr OEM" went for this option.

Just saying, Jerk.
