I don't think that fuel consumption is that bad - mix of city & highway? I get around 11L/100k ish from my 2.5 N/A with aircon and city....

I know that I get rooted with fuel efficiency due to being in the metropolitan area. The only highway driving I get daily is 80-100km/h on the M5 for about 10 minutes total per day and 60-70km/h along King Georges Road and the Princes Highway to Sutherland.

It's not bad at all. Just mentioning it in case somebody else wanted to do this conversion.

Hardly any info in relation to this swap on the internet. Moar manual H6 gen3 conversions please! It's so fun :)

I'd like to see how you go about building a Gen IV. I'm not aware of ALL of your projects/builds, but I cannot remember anything being said about you having a Gen IV. The first car I remember you owning when I joined SubyClub was the white Gen III that Staxta bought from you.

That's a fair bit of fuel, I drive pretty heavy foot and max I've ever seen is probably 12.5L/100.

Needs more exhaust vids once the genome is on. My new exhaust is in the mail so hopefully it'll be here next week.

I've never had a Gen4. I really wanted a pre-facelift 3rb 6spd or a bug/peanut sti before pulling the trigger on this.

I couldn't find any good examples. I like the concept of building a car from nothing, You get to pick everything you want pretty much.

@Sam, I've been driving like a porkchop. Economy run is next :)

I can foresee you tackling such a project one day man. I'll be waiting around to see it! :P

That's very true. If you've got the talent, patience, finances, space and time, you'd be silly not to. I certainly wouldn't mind getting my hands as dirty as yours but unfortunately I only possess one and a half out of five of those things at the moment.

genomes are amazing. it will certainly fix your droning issues.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

I love the look of the Legamax. The sound is fantastic for when you want to be a hooligan. It's dead silent on idle too.

The rest of the time it's alright but not as quiet as I would like it. (23 going on 70) :P

The exhaust is all new, I'll give it some time to carbon up and see what happens.

Define "long time".

No idea :)
