I must admit I was inspired by Cam's GT30 for that one. Just couldn't find any Fujimi RPF1's for it. I also have a set of GT-B/RS-K S-Edition BBS wheels to use on a kit too.

I think Cam needs some Oz Superturismos now, cos they look tits on a silver Gen3!

I have a model of my Foz - I didn't build it though. I was surprised with how much detail they put in to it!

Nice Foz! Does it have an opening bonnet with detailed engine bay? Shame there aren't any 1:24 Foz kits :(

I use Tamiya PP cans for the body colour and clear coat and the rest is done by hand with brushes using Humbrol enamel paints (14ml). Garnishes are done with a "Clear Red" 10ml Tamiya paint bottle which can also be bought in "Clear Orange" for indicators.

Tamiya spray cans are expensive at ~$15 a can, usually get maybe 2 body shells out of it depending on coat thickness (100ml can). I found an Ebay seller in Hurstville who does them for 2 for $29.95 with free postage so I don't venture to my local hobby shop anymore unless I need more enamal paint tins or accessories. Hobby shops unfortunately are dark dingy places run by hell-awkward in-sociables who care not for customers, so i avoid it if i can.

I would love to learn how to airbrush on a detail level but apart from the garage i don't have anywhere to do it. Might have to get a work bench going on.

I'm thinking about giving cars a break and moving onto some military vehicles :D I'm a real military buff and that shit gets me giddy. Would love to do some US land vehicles like an M2A2 Bradley IFV or LAV-25 IFV.

Amazing work. +1 on the vehicles. Id love to get a model WW2 Tiger Tank one day but i suck ass at fine detail work. Still have an A-10 attack plane from year 12 sitting in a pile of the landing gear and munitions cos i cant get them straight or neat.

I used to have an 1/72 F/A-18 that I did up in proper army colours. The brown/sand/olive green mix up on the top with sky blue bottom. Looked sweet. Might have a photo of it somewhere, but I doubt it. It has since been destroyed in the 4 house moves since I built and painted it, so no luck on keeping it unfortunately.

Yep, its since been binned (due to damage) and no photos. Sucks. Took hours to finish it.

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

My Forester is incredibly detailed, yes the bonnet does open but I don't have any pics of it on my phone, only this one of the interior...

It's not carpet but it is a felt material to make it look like carpet. The front seats slide back and forth. Here is a closer shot of the interior as well as a shot of under the bonnet. It is the most detailed model car I have ever seen!

It's a 1:18 scale - I love it! It even has suspension in the rear, when you push down on the back of it, it springs back (hard to explain)

Where did you get it from? A dealership?

They say it is a dealers model but I got it from China over the Internet. I was hoping to get a silver one but these models are very few and far between so I settled on the blue one.

I don't know any company or maker that goes into that much detail, so I think it's safe to assume it was from a dealership in China. It's a great buy.
