Not much LOL... if you have driven a car with the settings on it feels weird maybe to light.. feels more stable, like I now have more feeling. But at the end of the day its personal preference. Just makes it feel sable. Its hard to explain... on my model bh5 its really to light at low speed but now it feels heavy

If you want heavier steering, remove the power steering pump. Only JDM cars came with these variable steering systems.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

You'll find Luke, that it's actually the rack that needs to be replaced to remove the variable power steering, as they have an electric servo in the rack itself, and when they overheat, they fail, leaving the steering switch like crazy between heavy and light.

JDM 2.7:1 rack FTW.

My comment was aimed at quietone Alex, who owns an AUDM gen2 RX, which does not have an electronically controlled variable rack.

Fair enough

It's not a good idea to run a power steering rack without fluid, but rather as the manufacturer intended, as rack failure would be very quickly imminent.

If a manual rack is desired, the rack itself needs to be converted.

Retarded.

Refer to JDM 2.7 rack comment.

Yeah skippy, they come in extremely rarely so he has a list setup.

I put my name down febuary of 2010 andl i was about number 15 back then...he rang me a few months back and said one was coming in and i was on top of the list!! Unfortunantly that v6 RA had the rack removed by someone in japan so i waited for the s201 to come in and BAM its now mine :D

Keen to install it, should be crazy compared to my crappy stock RX 3.something pathetic rack

And its STi so its gotta be good lol
