Kmart Tyre & Auto did my last 4 wheel alignment for $75. It was good but they changed camber settings on the top D/side front coilover which I thought was a bit weird.

My friend got an oil change done at kmart auto, except they forgot to refill the oil!

Yeah find another shop and make it clear what you want from them.

Yeah tell them what you want and mention also you are just shopping for the best price. Quick easy job for them really. Shouldn't cost more than $50.

How on earth do you manage that!

The guys I've used at my local Kmart shop are good. They do a fair bit of stuff for me on the cheap (or for beer) and it's a small local workshop at a Shell servo in Umina. They get a bit busy at times but these guys know their shit and I don't mind using them for stuff I couldn't be bothered doing myself like pressing bearings. I think the larger ones in shopping center carparks should be avoided. They are busy as and mistakes are more likely to be made as you mentioned.

As for wheel alignments..... I think it has a lot to do with the mechanic who does it and their experience. Old school aligners know their shit.

Why people pay money to get their oil changed is beyond me. If you can put oil in a car then you are 1/3 of the way through an oil change. Such basic maintenance & it's saves you a shit load of cash in the long run.

Hah. Was gonna suggest ProFab Exhaust in Narellan.

Is Windsor really any closer?

Always Castle Hill Exhaust has plenty of recommendations.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Thanks man... Windsor is about 25min away, so its not too bad... but they only open during the weekdays... so that sux... I'll try to find another place, considering like others are saying to just chop off the inlet pipe and weld it onto existing stuff..

Wheel alignments!!!! Bah..

For $50-75 you are getting a 'toe and go'. Toe adjustment only.
Around 100 I would think it would be a four wheel align, checking rear.

A 'full' align should be all cambers, front caster (if adjustable) and front and rear toe. I should cost 150-200 depending on the time taken.

Just my 2 cents.

So $130-$140 is actually a good price for me then?

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Home made pasta!

A proper wheel alignment should cost you $90.

The cheaper wheel alignments are usually (Toe&Go)

Yeah, just started to do my Springs and had to go do something and now it's dark and the car is in pieces. No garage space or decent lighting to keep going.
